Zero tolerance. Treatly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion involving minors, and any sexualisation of children on our platform.

This page is Treatly’s externally published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), as required for apps distributed on Google Play. It applies to the Treatly website (treatly.me), the Treatly mobile app (package treatly.me), and all user-generated content and interactions within the service.

1. Scope

Treatly is a social accountability app. Users may:

  • Connect with friends and a private circle
  • Share tasks, treats, photos, notes, and mood check-ins
  • Send encouragement, assignments, and in-app notifications

These standards cover all such content and conduct.

2. Prohibited content and behaviour

Users must not upload, send, solicit, or facilitate:

  • CSAM or any visual depiction of a minor in a sexual context
  • Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, or sexualised communication with anyone under 18
  • Trafficking, exploitation, or coercion of minors
  • Links or instructions to obtain CSAE material
  • Profiles, names, or media that sexualise children or impersonate minors for sexual purposes

Accounts used for any of the above will be removed and may be reported to authorities.

3. Age requirement

Treatly is not directed at children under 13. Users must meet the minimum age required in their country to consent to our Privacy Policy (typically 13+ with parental involvement where required, or 16+ in some regions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and associated data promptly.

4. Detection, review, and removal

We use a combination of:

  • User reporting and blocking tools in the app
  • Manual review of reports by our team
  • Account termination and removal of reported content from our systems where it violates these standards
  • Technical and policy measures designed to limit abuse of uploads and social features

We prioritise reports involving minors and aim to act on confirmed CSAE reports without undue delay.

5. Reporting CSAE in Treatly

If you see content or behaviour that may involve CSAE on Treatly:

  1. Use in-app controls to report or block the user where available.
  2. Email safety@treatly.me with the subject line CSAE report, including relevant usernames, dates, and screenshots if safe to provide.
  3. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

You may also email support@treatly.me if you cannot reach safety@treatly.me. We treat CSAE reports as urgent.

6. Law enforcement and specialist organisations

Where we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our service, we will take steps consistent with applicable law, which may include preserving evidence and reporting to relevant authorities or organisations (for example the NCMEC CyberTipline in the United States, or equivalent bodies in other countries).

We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement related to child safety investigations.

7. Parental tools

Treatly offers optional parent mode so a parent or guardian can link a child account for oversight, as described in our app and Privacy Policy. Parents should supervise minors’ use of social features and report concerns using the channels above.

8. Changes

We may update these standards. The current version will always be published at https://treatly.me/child-safety.html with an updated “Last updated” date.
